Back Home in Boise … The Last of the Insanity

November 16, 2009

To all of the wonderful blog readers (who have not yet found their way here), I am home.  And this shall be the last rant of the trip.

Woke up around 4:00 a.m. to leave for the airport by 6:00 a.m.  The Delta flight departed from the airport approximately 30 – 45 minutes late due to something ….. and, therefore, arrived at the Salt Lake airport just as late.  As the Delta Gate Attendant decided to let the departing flight to Boise leave 5 minutes early, approximately 10 of the passengers were left on the ground.  And out of sorts, to put it gently.  Which meant that instead of arriving in Boise around 12:30 p.m., we didn’t arrive until 2:45.  So …. my day.  BUT, I am home, and it is quiet now, and I spent time with Mozart and the flock.

One song comes to my mind at this time, “Storms Never Last.”  It’s one of those special songs that has stayed in my heart for many years, and I have inserted into this post.

Good night.
